Private Flu Vaccine
Protect yourself against flu this season with a safe, effective vaccination. The flu vaccine reduces your risk of catching influenza and helps prevent serious complications, especially in high-risk groups.
Price: £20 per dose
What is influenza (flu)?
Influenza is a contagious respiratory infection caused by influenza viruses. Symptoms can include fever, chills, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, and fatigue. While most healthy adults recover within a week or two, flu can be serious for older adults, young children, pregnant women, and people with chronic health conditions.
Who is most at risk
Older adults: immune response declines with age.
Young children and infants: especially those under 6 months old.
Pregnant women: increased risk of complications for mother and baby.
People with chronic conditions: such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, or weakened immune systems.
About the vaccine
The flu vaccine is given as an injection into the upper arm. It is offered annually, as immunity decreases and flu strains change each year.
